drop ethereum above parking domain catcher auction auda registrar

I saved the “Ethereum.com.au” domain name from dropping.

The ultra-premium Australian domain name “Ethereum.com.au” was due to drop this morning (31-07-25) as a ‘Policy Delete’ because the old owner was never contacted to renew his domain name by GoDaddy.

Feeling bad for the owner, I worked with him for the previous 48-hours to help him recover it from dropping on the one-and-only monopoly drop catcher auction platform run by “Drop.com.au“.

If you’ve been living under a rock and aren’t sure why we only have ONE SINGLE MONOPOLY expired domain name drop catcher in Australia (since 2020), you can catch up by reading these articles.

The following screenshot (below) shows a $75,000 bid for “Ethereum.com.au” on the Drop.com.au auction platform at around 6pm yesterday (the day before it was due to drop on 30-07-25).

A few hours after this screenshot, when the domain name was successfully taken out of ‘Policy Delete’, Drop had no option but to remove this domain and its bids off their platform.

It is difficult to understand whether this was a REAL bid of $75,000 or if this could have possibly been a “shill bid” by the drop auction platform bosses themselves, to get other people to make the next $100,000 bid… We’re not saying it definitely “was” a shill bid, but what we are saying is, we’ll never know, because it’s not possible for anyone to know.

auDA have no oversight or any kind of transparent view over the Drop.com.au auction platform. In fact, NO ONE has any oversight or any kind of transparent view over the Drop.com.au auction platform (that is run as a monopoly in Australia) other than the Trillion.com, Drop.com.au and Above.com bosses.

In any case, the bosses at Drop.com.au just lost $75,000, or they lost the ability to purchase the domain name for themselves or their friends at cost price (under $10), perhaps under an alternate entity” as we’ve shown previously.

Thank you to the numerous people who sent me this screen shot from the domain name community. I, of course, couldn’t see this for myself, as I’ve been banned from their platform for over 4 years now for continually “exposing the truth”.
