au direct closed early

.AU Direct applications closed 10 hours early.

I write this at 1:30am (AEST) on Wednesday 21 September 2022 and it appears Afilias have CLOSED .AU DIRECT Priority Allocation applications EARLY.

10 hours too early!

This is a screenshot from 1:41am (AEST) Wednesday morning 21 September 2022 after trying to acquire my token details for an uncontested, eligible, Category One domain name from priority.auda.org.au . . .

As you can see above, the whole official priority lodging website has now changed??

The following screenshot below, from auDA’s own website [https://www.auda.org.au/statement/four-weeks-remaining-priority-access-new-au-direct-domain-names], shows when the lodging time was supposed to finish…

You can see above in the screenshot from auDA’s website, it clearly states eligible registrants have until 9:59am AEST this morning (21 Sept), but once again, I can confirm after testing multiple times that Afilias have ended the Priority Allocation Process from priority.auda.org.au about 10 hours too early.

Story developing.

OMG this is just pure incompetence! this looks like theyve messed up the 10 hour UTC time with Australian time? And they’re running the whole Australian critical infrastructure DNS?

Y2K anyone?
