Anthony Peake has left Drop.com.au

Multiple domain name industry veterans have reported to us that Anthony Peake has left Drop.com.au and no longer works with David Warmuz, owner of Drop.com.au, Above.com, Trillion.com and DomainShield.com.au(.)

Back in October 2017, over 8 years ago, Anthony Peak wrote:

It is unclear if Anthony Peake will ever be a part of the Australian domain name industry moving forward.

Drop.com.au continues to hold the monopoly on catching premium expired and deleted domain names, as we have been reporting since November 2020.

I have been banned from buying premium Australia domain names since May 2021, for nearly five years, for “speaking out” about Drop.com.au “practices”. We are aware of other instances where people have been threatened to be banned.

You can read various articles about Drop.com.au over the past 5 years – here.

I was a big fan of DomainShield.com.au back in the day, when Anthony ran it on its own, before it was bought out.
