Who is Perry Wood?

We’ve been watching this mysterious “Perry Wood” person from “AUSTRALIAN LEGAL PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD” buying hundreds of domain names over the past three months.

Perry Wood” has managed to grab 318 domain names from the one and only monopoly Drop Catcher Drop.com.au over the past 3 months.

MANY of the domain names he has been acquiring have been dropped by old “customers” of Drop in the past such as “SEO Web Recovery” and “ASSAAdvanced Safety Systems Australia Pty Ltd

ASSA” was purchasing 63% of EVERY Expired Domain Name in Australia during July 2022, exclusively from Drop.com.au and parking every domain name through the Above.com (same owners as Drop.com.au) domain parking monetisation platform.

SEO Web Recovery registered 97% of every expired domain name for the last half of 2024, exclusively from Drop.com.au and parking every domain name through the Above.com (same owners as Drop.com.au) domain parking monetisation platform.

Now, as “ASSA” and “SEO Web Recovery” are dropping domain names, “Perry Wood” is gobbling a lot of them up and still parking them exclusively with “Above.com” (same owners as Drop.com.au).

Meanwhile, today, there was a $20,000 BID on the Drop.com.au auction platform for “PaintProtection.com.au” (see screenshot below). Many domain investors contacted me, saying this looked “strange”.

It wasn’t easy for me to see, because I have been BANNED by Drop.com.au from using their platform since May 2021.

SEO Web Recovery” were dropping the domain, which was, of course, parked and earning domain parking revenue at “Above.com“. Again, if you don’t know who “SEO Web Recovery” is, you might want to read this.

Guess who was the winning bidder at Drop.com.au today, who allegedly purchased this “PaintProtection.com.au” domain name today for $20,000….

PERRY WOOD from AUSTRALIAN LEGAL PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD.

PERRY WOOD allegedly paid $20,000 for "PaintProtection.com.au"

The screenshot above shows the owner as “SEO Web Recovery” at 11-09-25 before the domain dropped.

The above WHOIS screenshot shows “Perry Wood” purchased the domain from Drop.com.au for $20,000, allegedly, according to the DROP.com.au auction platform on 09-11-25.

There have been so many massive questions building over the past 5 years, in terms of the monopoly drop catching POWER that has been granted to Drop.com.au by auDA since November 2020.

If you’re wanting to start putting the pieces together yourself, with what has been happening with expired and deleted Australian domain names over the past 5 years, we recommend reading these articles:

The Drop Catching Monopoly continues in 2024.
Who is Raja Jata?
auDA Complaint: Superannuation.com.au
SEO Web Recovery registered 97% of every expired domain name for the last half of 2024.

We recommend reading all of these too, if you really care about the state of Australian domain names – https://assets.com.au/category/dropcomau/

auDA are AWARE of all of these articles above, and everything that has been happening at DROP.com.au in relation to the above articles, over the past 5 years, since November 2020. We’ve told them MANY TIMES and we know they read our lovely website often.

So, at some point, we’re guessing there will be some BIG questions for auDA, and everyone at auDA who has known about all of this, during these past 5 years, in relation to all of the above…

We invite the real Perry Wood to contact us.

We’d love to ask you some questions, Perrynews @ assets.com.au

what a big read.

panel wondering

notice Anthony Peake from Drop.com.au is now on the auDA external Policy Advisory Panel. The panel is “The Panel is committed to accountability and transparency in its operations”… Does the panel and auDA know about all of the shenanigans mentioned above?
