I would say the reason why Appliances Online hasn’t rebrand is that that “Appliances” cannot be be trademarked whereas “Appliances Online” can. The name has been bought for defensive reasons and to have a shorter version in their back pocket.
They are a bit slack to not set up the name but it is unlikely to get more than a couple of visitors a day. The actual revenue cost wouldn’t be anything significant to them.
